Chai Karak

Ingredients
  • 1 Teaspoon black tea, loose
  • 4 Cardamom pods, crushed
  • Fresh ginger, small piece
  • Rainbow evaporated milk, to taste (about ¼ cup)
  • Sugar to taste
Directions

In a 1 ½ quart saucepan on high heat add water, cardamom, ginger & tea. Allow to come to a full boil. Remove from heat & allow to steep for 5mins 

Place pan back onto stove on medium heat. Add sugar and Rainbow Evaporated milk, heat thoroughly and remove from heat.

Pour tea through the strainer into a cup.
